Introduction Museum Nusantara

Museum Nusantara is the only museum in The Netherlands that focuses entirely on the history and culture of Indonesia.

Refurbishment
In 2009, Museum Nusantara has been renovated. At the moment, the museum is being refurbished. Therefore, Nusantara will be closed until further notice.

Temporary exhibition
From 5 September until 17 October 2010 there is a temporary exhibition: 'Márta's Choice'.

Museumshop
The museumshop stays open all the time. Check the opening hours here.

5 september t/m 17 oktober 2010 in Museum Nusantara en Galerie Terra Delft

Galerie Terra Delft organiseert in samenwerking met professor Márta Nagy van de Universiteit van Pécs een keramiektentoonstelling onder de naam 'Márta’s Choice'.

Uitwisseling
De opzet van de tentoonstelling is dat Hongaarse en Nederlandse kunstenaars elkaar ontmoeten in zowel Hongarije als in Nederland. Zij tonen elkaar hun werk en kunnen informatie en ervaringen delen. Hierdoor ontstaat een vruchtbare uitwisseling, die voor allen een stimulans zal zijn voor hun ontwikkeling als keramisch kunstenaar.

Gamelan-voorstellingen

De meer dan tweehonderdjaar oude gamelan van Museum Nusantara wordt regelmatig bespeeld door het muziekgezelschap Marsudi Raras. De groep bestaat uit mensen die al jaren samen musiceren in Museum Nusantara. Met de speciale reisgamelan treedt de groep buiten het museum op. Incidenteel is er plaats voor nieuwe leden.

Repetities bijwonen
Iedere zaterdag van 11.30 uur tot 13.30 uur kunt u de Gamelan-repetities bijwonen. U kunt zich melden bij de museumwinkel van Nusantara.
